Skilled Job Visa for Canada

Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) Program

Canada's Federal Skilled Worker Program(FSWP) for skilled workers is a point based program. The minimum score required is 67 of 100 points from factors like age, qualification, work experience, occupation and language. The Canada immigration process is simple and straight forward if you meet the Canada points system and your documentation must be accurate & complete. The process time for Canada immigration would be generally 6 to12 months. PR is granted for applicant, spouse & children. Once the PR is granted, you can later sponsor your parents, grandparents, siblings & cousins. The eligible occupation stream will have an overall cap of 25,000 new applications and sub-caps of 1000 applications for each of the 50 occupations on the list.

People and professionals with high levels of skills and experience who can be economically established in Canada are intended for this FSW program. Skilled workers can apply for permanent residency and should qualify based on their education, work experience, knowledge and language perfection in English and/or French and other criteria.

Skilled trading visa for Canada

Federal Skilled Trades (FST) Program

The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) under Canadian Express Entry, is for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in skilled trades.

FSTP program has no relevant or special conditions towards education requirement. There are two ways to improve your rank in the express entry pool:

1. EITHER, you went to school in Canada, you can get points for a certificate, diploma or degree from a Canadian high school or post-secondary institution.

2. OR, you have a foreign education, you can get points for a completed educational credential, if you have an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report for immigration purposes from a designated organization showing that your education is equal to a completed certificate, diploma or degree from a Canadian high school or post-secondary institution.


Experienced Class Visa for Canada

Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Program

Canadian Experience Class Program (CECP) was developed for foreign workers and graduates with good and qualifying work experience in Canada. For people with skilled Candian work experience, CEC is a category for permanent residence.

Not all the occupations, but few canadian work experience must be Managerial Positions / Type-0 Skill or Professional Positions / Type-A Skill or Technical and skilled trading Positions / Type-B Skill on the National Occupational Classification (NOC) of Canada.

Eligibility for skilled workers who already have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents.

  • Must have at least 1 year of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work experience in Canada
  • Should apply within 3 years of obtaining your skilled work experience
  • Have had legal status while working, or studying, in Canada
  • Meet minimum language levels in English or French, and for those who plan to live outside the province of Quebec.
