If you are aged 16 or over and you can apply for a Student visa to study in the UK, and you will be offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor. Financial proof and support with enough money to support yourself and pay for your course and the amounts vary depending on your the choice of education plans and circumstances.

You can work or choose for a full-time employment, once your new course finishing date for the amount of time you were given on your original visa (usually four months). You can not work in the UK, if you are with visitor visa or a short term or part-time student / tier 4 visa.

After finishing the education, you should get a full-time job. After a tenure of working for 5 years or more, you can apply for the ILR Visa (Indefinite Leave to Remain) which gives you a permanent resident or UK PR status. For obtaining PR in UK, you need to demonstrate stable income along with a full-time job and good moral conduct and values.

With the new rules for UK student visa system, students will require a total of 70 points to be granted a visa. They will achieve the required points, if they can demonstrate that they have an offer from an approved educational institution, with good skills in speaking English language and are able to support themselves during their education in UK.
